HCVMA is excited to announce Dr. Mary Belle Glaze as our February Speaker
We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Mary Belle Glaze, DVM, MS, DACVO to the 2025 HCVMA CE lineup! Dr. Glaze is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists. She was the first woman elected president of the American Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology (ASVO). She has spoken to veterinary groups throughout the world, authored a number of journal articles and book chapters, and is the co-author (with Dr. Kerry Ketring) of veterinary atlases on feline ocular disease and canine inherited ocular disorders. Her university research focused on the use of novel lytic peptides for the treatment of herpetic ocular disease in animals.
Dr. Glaze will present “An Ophthalmic Medley,” offering a variety of canine and feline ocular disorders intended to provide a little something for everyone! Topicals will include refractory corneal ulcers, both superficial and deep, herpetic havoc, tear deficiencies that don’t fit the traditional KCS mold, entropion tips, and selected ocular emergencies.
Non-members (veterinarians and LVTs): Thursday evening meeting fee: $40 / All-day Sunday meeting fee: $100. *Fees may be paid at the door.
*No registration is necessary for weeknight meetings unless stated. Registration is required for all-day Sunday meetings.
MEMBERS: Do not pay to register for this meeting; register for free under the HCVMA Members class.
REMINDER: There will be no General Meetings in April, June, July, August, November, or December.
