HCVMA Supports Harris County’s Pets & Pet Owners
“The Harris County Veterinary Medical Association is a nonprofit organization comprised of local veterinarians who volunteer their time to the "advancement of Veterinary Science and the Veterinary Profession; the Protection of Public Health, the Education, Ethical, and Moral Improvement of its members; and the Defense of their rights."
That is our mission and objective. HCVMA’s primary service is to its members, offering high quality continuing education in Veterinary Medicine to advance members knowledge of Veterinary Science and promoting communication between cohorts.
Currently HCVMA has close to 200 members whose clinics are throughout Harris County and surrounding counties. Membership includes Active Members, Life Members, & Complimentary First Year Graduate members. Registered Veterinary Technicians are eligible to be Active Non-Voting Members and are encouraged to participate in every CE meeting available.
The HCVMA has changed its meeting format. Starting in 2013, the HCVMA is offering Thursday night monthly meetings from January through March and September as well as 2 Sunday CE meetings in May and October.
Support the Association
HCVMA is a not-for-profit association, any support you are able to provide is greatly appreciated and not only helps Harris County pets, their owners but also our veterinarians.
