We provide a service to the community to help resolve disputes involving veterinarians and their clients. Your complaint must meet the following criteria to be reviewed by the committee:
Note: HCVMA does not have the authority to punish any party involved in a complaint
- The veterinarian(s) involved must be a member of HCVMA
- No complaints of a financial nature will be reviewed
- If the complaint has also been lodged with another organization, the committee respectfully declines to review the complaint
- Complaints relating to events more than 1 year old are not eligible to be reviewed by the committee
To file a complaint about an HCVMA member, please fill out the online form below. The chairman of the Ethics and Grievance Committee will contact you within 2 weeks to review your complaint and you will have an opportunity to submit additional documents and information at that time.
