Ethics & Grievance Complaints

We provide a service to the community to help resolve disputes involving veterinarians and their clients. Your complaint must meet the following criteria to be reviewed by the committee:

  1. The veterinarian(s) involved must be a member of HCVMA
  2. No complaints of a financial nature will be reviewed
  3. If the complaint has also been lodged with another organization, the committee respectfully declines to review the complaint
  4. Complaints relating to events more than 1 year old are not eligible to be reviewed by the committee

Note: HCVMA does not have the authority to punish any party involved in a complaint

To file a complaint about an HCVMA member, please fill out the online form below. The chairman of the Ethics and Grievance Committee will contact you within 2 weeks to review your complaint and you will have an opportunity to submit additional documents and information at that time.
